Marsh & Micklefield Community Day

Families joined us for an exciting day of food and activities

The Marsh and Micklefield Big Local Children's Community Day was a spectacular success, bringing together families and children for a fun-filled day at Micklefield Community Centre. Blessed with sunny weather, the event featured a fantastic mix of entertainment, activities, and community spirit. 

In the main hall, John Johnny kept the energy high with engaging performances, while outside, excitement soared with inflatable attractions provided by the 4fun group. Families enjoyed Easter-themed arts and crafts, hair braiding, and glitter tattoos in the dedicated activity tents.  

A special highlight of the day was the appearance of beloved mascots, courtesy of M&G Parties. Children's faces lit up with joy as they met Stitch, Queen Bee, Peter Rabbit, Sonic, Bluey, and Teddy Bear—creating unforgettable moments. Dancing at the disco and trying out Zumba added even more fun to the festivities.  

Food and refreshments were available throughout the day, with a delicious BBQ in the afternoon catering to all attendees. The event saw an incredible turnout, with the local community coming together to celebrate and enjoy a day of laughter, creativity, and shared experiences.
