Wrights Meadow Centre - 10th Birthday Bash

It doesn’t seem possible that ten years have passed since the Wrights Meadow Centre opened on Friday 5th September 2014, and whilst the years have moved on, the Centre still looks as fresh and welcoming as it did when it was first opened.

To celebrate ten years since the opening of the Centre, members, guests and regular hirers gathered for a 10th Birthday Bash on Saturday 24th August. The weather was not always kind on the d ay with both showers and sunshine, but this did not dampen the enthusiasm of the organisers and entertainers or the fun for those attending.

The day included Steve Lee who ran the stage, Alecks from Monkey Music, Medley Dance Performance and Gateway choir. Paula Lee, Centre Manager said; ‘It was lovely to see so many of our hirers, volunteers and customers supporting our 10th Birthday. WMC wouldn’t be where it is today without them all. We're very much looking forward to the next 10 years! Many thanks to Marsh and Micklefield Big Local for helping with the cost of the event, it was very much appreciated by everybody”

Wrights Meadow Centre is an amazing community facility in Wycombe Marsh and Marsh and Micklefield Big Local are proud of the initial contribution and ongoing support that we have been able to give the centre. Thank you to all the Trustees, staff, volunteers, hirers and members who attended on the day and continue to support this amazing community centre.
